How are they made? Palm Plates are 100% naturally fallen palm leaves. We do not cut or damage trees in this process. Dried leaves are then inspected for fungus, bacteria and other defects, the best ones are then taken for production. The leaves are heat pressed, leaving them extremely sturdy. The pressing itself takes a few seconds, then each plate is shaped and edges are smoothed one by one. After this process, all approved plates are vacuum packed and then put in cartons and shipped to customers. All rejected leaves and plates are used for agricultural purposes, like fertilizer production and enriching soil.
